You can set up a mech that's lighter and more agile, able to float around midair while raining missiles on opponents, or you can go for a slower, more powerful build with lots of melee combat skills and powerful laser beams. Not only will those mech design choices be crucial to beating a level, it also will define how you play the game. These weapons include multi-lock missiles, laser sabers- of course, it's a mech- as well as rifles, and machine guns, and pretty much anything you can imagine a giant robot firing at another giant robot. Alongside components for speed and power output, you'll be able to select up to four weapons, one on each arm, and two on the back. And the company itself says this is a reimagined, remastered take on mech battling, so I'm intrigued by what I've seen so far. I think the last time I extensively played any kind of mech game, it was "Zone of the Enders," and that was back in 2003.
